MK1 Golf 1.1

Hello everybody I am new to the forum, and have just got into mk1's as I am into old Fords my lad was feedup of driving his 03 plate Corsa and asked if he could get a real car, so a few weeks back I found a mk1 on your cars for sale for my lad in Bristol, we agreed to go and see it and brought it home on the back of a trailer its an 83 five door we have been working in the evenings to get it back on the road and should hopfully have it done ready for this weekend, I will try to put some photos on later.

Hey welcome to this site, i know the car you bought its a good little project, i was half tempted to go for it myself.
What work did it need ?

is the car gonna be staying in bristol or you guys from elsewhere ??

Hi Scott,  no the car now lives in Bedfordshire it needed a bit of an overhall. New disc and pads, new flexi hoses the exhaust was a nightmare so an Ashley complete system should be here today, four new falken tyres and lots of putting things right oh and the bumpers are back on but we want a set of short ones for it
