Mk1 caddy project

Hi as you have seen on my other project I bought a mk1 caddy it's a d plate 1986 petrol.i dragged it off a farm which they had for over 10 years.it had not been used in years but lucky for me it was stored in a barn.when I got it home and had a better look at it I found the body work in better nick than I thought.i have fixed all the electrical problems now as nothing was working I've cleaned all the connections up.but in the end I changed the fuse board as it had water damage.i have also gave the car a full service ie cam belt, tensioner, coolant flush, oil, filter, air filter, plugs, dizzy cap, rotor arm, leads.and i gave the carb full clean as it was not working as it should, also the rocker cover gasket was leaking badly so changed that as well also cleaned the filter that in the rocker cover.the van is now running at last but I'm going to change the inlet gasket and the exhaust gasket as they need doing as well.last of all I fitted new vented front disc pads as they were soild disc on the van.and flexi hoses as the brakes were shot.my plans for the van is to get it repainted in Helios blue, some g60 steels, corrodo seats, and a new front screen and rear sliding Screen not to much as my other car needs finishing lol.will upload pics later today.

Sorry to jump on here, where did you get your inlet manifold core plugs and what size are they? I called the dealer and they said they were discontinued and had no details of size etc.   :P

As some of you no I sold this caddy a while back .the lad I sold it to has bought a few more parts to get it ready for its mot but never finished it off.So I viewed it today a decided to buy it back off him with all the parts.i will collect it next week ,what have I done lol.i think it needs a rear arch and fit the new parts he has and I can mot it then.and later down the line get it painted.
