hi guys, got this before xmass had hoped that a lick of paint an some attention to detail it would be a minter! How wrong was i! after a long drive home made a call to the paint shop an my mate Mo met m at home! after a brew an a long chat paint was sorted and he took some panels with him.that nite in bed there was me thinking wot have i let my self in for again lol
heres some pics before i started any work!

after more stripping found lots of rot more than i 1st thought!

Looks awesome though dude  8)

I've come to the conclusion that very few 'minters' are actually that.  Mine was similar, rear beam mounts etc.

Most people (aside from the big money people) who say their car is 'solid'/'mint' have probably never actually had if up in the air in pieces to have a proper look.

I'd put money on being able to find hidden rot on 80% of the cars on here.

That's not a reflection on the owners, just a fact that they are all that old now.
