Mk1 1.8 20v turbo?
i am really want to do this conversion and make the car a minta!
But need some info on the conversion
i.e
what breaks to use
what running gear
info on the gear linkages
etc etc
if any1 has got any info they could give me wud b much apriciated

You have a choice:
keep 020 transmission from Mk1 Golf
use 02A transmission from 20vT, you'll need different mounts (quite costly to buy), convert hydraulic clutch to cable, and convert cable change to rod change. Or you can adapt the car to use hydraulic clutch and/or cable change if you want to - lots of work involved though.

they jus the standard ones iniist?
is there much 2 adapt
with the drive shats and stuff then? i aint really sure what i am guna be gettin myself init so jus what 2 know b4 i spend a 1p really

02A is the standard gearbox in many later VWs, for example Mk3 Golf 16V, Corrado, Mk4 Golf (20vT and probably others), G60 etc
Basically if you buy a 20vT engine and gearbox, its 95% likely going to be an 02A box on it.

do i use the driveshafts from the 20v?
and any idea what breaks i use? vr6 mab?

theres big brake conversions you can buy which would do the trick 16v master cylinder and servo are a must as a minimum :wink:
