Jo's '83 satin black cabrio
Anyway, here it is -
Plans are to lower it, get some little fat wheels and hopefully some small bumpers if I can find some relatively cheap.
Any suggestions/ideas are welcome

I'm not sure about the wheels, just don't think they suit the style of the car, I'm sure they'd set off a different car very nicely though so I'm hoping to find someone wanting to swap for some smaller/wider wheels.

Yeah I reckon the wheels would look good on an old jap car or maybe a low 6n polo?

Yeah, it just caught my eye and I decided I had to get it! I was originally after a mk3 cab but thats the way the cookie crumbles I suppose.

sphmk1 - I've never driven or even been in a mk3 of any kind tbh so can't comment but I just wanted some mod cons, power steering, stuff like that. But then I saw this little guy looking a bit sorry for itself and the deal was done.
My plans are just to keep it going for now really! Obviously it's going to be as low as I can get it and have some silly offset wheels (not everyones taste I know but I love mk1's with stupid amount of poke)
I've been thinking about DIY resprays as I wouldn't need many halfrauds cans to get it done, I've had matt black cars before and they're getting a bit played now. I'm thinking white/beige/brown would suit it.
Other than that if the shell's still in good condition in a couple of years when I'm 25 (for the insurance) a 1.8 conversion of some description.

Hi mate, send me some pictures of the wheels and let me know if there's any curbing or damage, also what tyres they have and the condition of them. I can only really make you an offer then.
