jetta twin 45 weber project
hi ive had the jetta for a while now its a 1.5 cl
and have starting to get bits together for the engine swap.
ive bought a brm 1.8 16v and have decided to go with 45 webers
ive also got a 4 branch stainles manifold just need facet fuel pump
and regulator.

the engine has brmotorsport and a number stamped in the head,
but i dont now much about it apart from it was a lot quicker then
any standard 16v. it was taken out of a mk2 jetta gti.
i dont now if it was from vw like this or it has been tuned
some where else.

been working on the engine this week.
its has been taken apart buy a mate and my brother
has painted the block. need to get more new parts and
start putting it back together.

right its five years later and time to get back to work ont the jetta, been working on some other prodjects and as they are finally finished i really want to get this car up and running. the engine and car have not been touched since.
now i really could do with some help as the car is so close to being back on the road but been so long out of the vw game i dont remember how to wire up this engine.
i have the original 1.5 loom in the car but also have a polo bit of loom i was told i would need for the dizzy.
could anyone help.????

I'm glad that you are still working on this project. I'm thinking about putting weber 45's on my 16v.

You should need the mk2 16v (Kr) ignition loom bud.
The loom, dizzy which you have, the tch unit and ecu.
Not sure about the polo bit…
