Its alive !

Got my first MK1 4 months ago after having 8 different Golf Gti's but never a mark 1. It was free off a mate after the petrol pipes rotted throught 2 years ago and it had just sat on his drive. I've totaly overhauled the under side of the back end sand blastered, painted or underseal, new bushes  and brakes got some petrol pipes off Quiff. Went under the bonnet changed all fliuds, belts, plugs and leads got out the Haines manual primmed the fuel, sat in the drivers seat and she fired first time after not turning over for 2 years. Wish my everyday MK4 was made as well. :)  :D  :P
