inner wings! :(

continuing my 78 restoration, i pulled of the wings of today and was grinding down the rust on inner wings and found they are pullng away from the front panel, how do i go about reparing this, will i need a new front panel or will i have to weld and strip on the inner wing?

just done this on my 79, have a look, restoring a 79 thread. page 4.
if the front panel isn't rotten, then just buy the front inner wing repair panels, i used hadrian panels and they went in a treat. and were about 22 quid a side.

hey guys, iv stripped and repaired the inner wings. i want to know what you out on the innerwings. do you:

1. prime
2. paint
3. wax oil????

or is there somthing better?

How did you fix it (they were pulling apart? and these 2 parts are welded together). But without seeing it, I can't tell.
