Wow, that's really nice. Whenever I've seen them in this colour they always seem to be rotten :-(

i love the colour, but they used to rust like mad!!! must be a reaction with the paint!! :-)

yeah I have heard that, this wasnt too bad albeit has had full resto externally, need to sort engine bay next. the 1600 wont give up to give me an excuse to take it out tho he he. some excellent threads on here re engine detailing.

thanks ade, yes bigburt ive got one and i absolutely love it and im currently doing my engine bay at mo,,,,man what a job

i have a 16v one too , there is 2 shades to this colour from what ive been told there is a 79 lighter colour and a bit more darker 81 onwards colour .
mine is an 81 as the bloke pointed the colour out to me in the paint shop , best colour they did

Yep mine was rotten when I got it but why does this colour Rot so much
