I think its 47mm. Also i need some filters for the ends i had 4 seperate cone filters! They are apprently zapping and they dont fit under the bonnet either! Also is there anyway to reroute the clutch cable i want to tidy up under the bonnet a little!

You should be able to get some fuel hose in a large diameter similar to the section of flexi hose on the filler neck to tank. That should withstand the fuel for years dude, just try a local motor factors or search online?

I know that if you want to run oil in silicone hoses you have to get flouro lined silicone hose but I am not sure if that covers you for fuel? :dontknow:

Filters will be another search as there are hundreds of different sizes available out there, or how about some socks such as those used on webbers etc? Pipercross do some so I'm sure others will too. I don't know what the R1's use but maybe look down that route?

As for the clutch cable, you are kind of stuck with it unless you reroute it and support it in places needed so that it still works as it should and does not snag or loose any of the movement it needs. Don't kink it anywhere or you will have problems. I'd leave it where it is to be honest dude.

another option with air filters is microphone wind shields.

they look cool in funny colours and also you can use them over the "ram jet" fluite air systems on some carbs.

HTH :)

booze and boredom, the greatest mix :)

If i remember rightly, the old trick with the clutch cable was to use a diesel one, it bends after leaving the bulkhead

Yep - I have one on my car as used to have twin 40's years ago.
As it bends as soon as it comes through the bulkhead, it gives clearance for the carbs… Wouldn't have thought you'd have an issue with a valver though as inlet on the front?
