help for my project

Hi there,
 I need a mechanic in the yorkshire area to get my cabby up and running as the project is stood at the moment. I am also wondering if anybody can fit a bigger engine into my golf maybe 1.8t, vr6 or maybe a v5 as not heard of that conversion. I dont have loads of money and wouldt threrfore consider any quotes at the moment but will pay cash! If not just somebody who knows their way around a mk1 golf who can look at the mechanics and advise what needs doing and maybe doing the job. I am no good with a spanner, just dont have the patiants or the temprement for this but have got bodywork and interior side sorted.
