Golf MK1 KR from Bulgaria

Greetings from Bulgaria, recently I bought MK1 body in great condition and decided to make a fun to drive car from it. Engine will be 1.8 from MK2 with ported head, custom exhaust, mechanical injection, gearbox from corrado, coilovers, 14' 7j daytona rims(waiting for them to arrive), clean black part alcantara interior with recaro seats from MK2 GTI(found them very cheap) and so on. I decided to post a topic here because in bulgarian forums you cant find much help. The project is still in the begining, next week the engine and the gearbox must be mounted. So here it is…

We made some progress, although it took quite a lot of time cause it's my first project. Sorry if my english is bad and the pic quallity too Btw mk1 golf are really begining to pick popularity in Bulgaria, more and more people begin go apreciate their retro charm!
