golf mk1 1.3 1996 convert to crosflow

Hey ime  posting from south africa , i drive a mk1 citi golf 1.3 carburator 1996 model now i wana know what should i do to convert my motor to a x-flow head becuase my intake and exhuast manifolds both sit at the back of the motor an this confuses me alot becuase the pics that i see of the european mk1 1.3 the intake sits a the back same as mine but the exhuast sits at the front of thr motor all i whant to know wil it be posible to convert the engine head to a x-flow head and what should i do if this is posible . sorry if my english is poor bit n am afrikaans speaking

Your 1.3 is a big block, the european cars are small block. Mounts on yours would mean you could convert to gti easier if you wanted.

thanx havent thought about that so far wil look into it but is the crosflow conversion posible on this spesific engin

i mean on my current motor not the gti
