Fitted teledials using FK adaptors, i drove down the road...

…And then 'duh' 'duh' 'duh' really bad knocking sound on both fronts! checked the wheel nuts an they were nice and tight, then i shuck the wheel, adaptor loose, both sides. i make sure when i fitted them the bolts were fairly tight, but not over tight, so i dont no why its happened, do i need some sort of loctite stuff on em??

P.s they look amazing! ill post a pic up! :D (but dont want them to fall off!)

Wheel adapters = twice as many bolts to work loose! I imagine you'd need to tighten both sets the same as the wheel nuts. Not sure you'd want to use loctite on wheel nuts (or adapter nuts) though?

i no yeah, i dont mean the superglue loctite, my dad said theres something you can put on the threads, not really sure. you need an allen key for the adaptor bolts, whats the best way to tighten them beyond my own strengh?

You can get loctite for bolts - In fact you have to use it on brake caliper carrier bolts.  It will also stop the bolts rusting in as there is no space for moisture to gather as the loctite is in there.

I say use the loctite and see what happens - you don't want the adapters coming off on the M1.

Wheels look awesome though! 8)

So you have to properly crank them down tight? I did mine up with a measly allen key as you said so might have to take them off again..

You need to torque them down at least as much as the wheel bolts. If you can apply that much torque using an allen key….

ideally you'd need a torque wrench:

and a hex bit socket set:

I had exactly the same prolem when I fitted my Design 90's using adaptors. I eventually sorted it when I bought a torque wrench and an allen key socket. Now I drive evrywhere with the wrench and a set of sockets in the boot.
