FFAY - My Build Thread.
I bought off Mugly, admin of the Edition forums, from Lichfield and she looked like this.
When I got her home she looked like this.
She was over heating like a slapper on crack so on a closer investigation; ya know the bracket that holds the fan belt tensioned? Well, the bolt on the engine side of this bracket was missing. God knows how no one noticed it!
Anyway, after an hour or so sorting through the thousands of bits and bobs in the garage, I found myself with a suitable bolt to keep her ticking.
So, I took her to work and showed off what I'd got to the apprentice…
And yes, I had the sunroof open. It seemed to let less water in that way :] hahaha
Next, I raced up to Leicester to meet a really really safe guy called Hussein who sold me some old style ATS Cups for a few notes.
They looked like this.
The following day I smuggled them into work and got busy in the grit blaster.
Then I masked them.
And Painted…
I'm quite happy with them.
Whilst waiting for the lacquer to dry, I fitted some crosshair headlights to replace what looked like a pair of shooting range targets on the front of Ffay.
Now with the ATS
Pretty decent set to get me over winter and until my daily is back on the road. Then I can get to work on stripping her and sorting out the stance. Controversial plans on stance ;]
So there we have it, for now
Any comments/improvements/hints/trickery/tips/links or whatever are welcomed and encouraged!

The drive way thought it would look better without.
Tbh, I prefer it without. Need to get rid of those bolts though

How's it going??
The overheating problem has gone away now, big big big thanks to yourself :]
I've spotted a set of Fuchs on the net I've got my eye on. They don't look too clever just yet, but they could look stunning on the car for next summer after a tidy up
Anyone selling adapters?? ;]
