cabrio gti 1984 brake upgrades
Hi all, can anyone give me some avise on the best route to take to upgrae the brakes on my 1984 cabby gti. Not sure where to start

yeah for the rear the front hubs are fine for the 16v carriers and calipers as its a later gti. I have been told the rear conversion should be avoided by a guy at tsr! he said they tend to swap ends and if you fit the limiting valve from the 16v scirocco then you get the same braking power as the drums so a little pointless. However i dont know how true th is

sounds sensible, dont think ill change the stub axles. Does the 16v servo conversion have a big improvement?

Big enough for the money paid!
erm def do the disks and calipers (front) they make a great difference but if you wanna make a massive difference remove the bar that operate ths servo runs along the back of the engine bay and beef it up. cause you loose loads of force through the bar bending!
