Cabby restoration RUT!!!

Hey all,

Long time since I posted anything on here…or anywhere else for that matter!!!
Recently moved back from Mallorca and brought my unfinished cabby project with me…lock stock and ignition barrel, literally the lot in boxes and the rollin chassis on a transporter.
Long story re the reasons for movin back to the UK but basically need some help and advise on getting things moving again. I'm more than able and willing to tackle the fitting of the new interior etc but really need some help on the fitting on the new MK2 16v engine and gearbox.
Its ready to go in as far as my knowledge allows me to know, i.e. got the full engine, gearbox and wiring loom but I'm well shy of the ability to fit it!!

Any help would be most appreciated, cheers.

Give it ago, not a massive job really.  there's loads of info on this very popular conversion, a good start would be the 16v faq download and paul c's 16v thread thread, both found in the engines FAQ at the bottom of the forum.  There is also alot of info here and here too.  At least have a read ;)  Perhaps it wont seem quite so daunting.

Or post up a rough location so folk will have more of an idea for recomendations.
