Thought i would make my own post up as i have already added a few touches to the car so it would be good to see the changes recorded!

Started off by changing the alloys to these:


made the car look alot better in my opinion.

Decided to clean the engine bay and interior and dechrome all the side mouldings and front grille today.
got dark so will post pics up tomorrow of before and after.

You took your chrome side strips OFF! Fair enough I suppose, your call but I think they look brilliant on and would personally of left them well alone.

As for the wheels I'm currently refurbing a set of Cups for my car. To be fair they're both common rims so again fair play, looks like a nice car.

Yes mate as it does not suit the car! black looks more in line with the modded look. chrome is more for old skool look and standard rims which mine are not.
but each to there own.

Your making it your own mate so go for it!!  I do like the colour though… never looks that great in pics but up close it's a cracking colour you must be chuffed with it?

just finished off the grille surround and black front vw badge now and i must say it looks lovely in red, makes it look much more modern and more inline with the rest of the car.
pictures tomorrow as too dark AGAIN!

thanks, still need to takes some pics. bought 2 12" solo baric subs, 5om cap, and a kicker sub to go in for the install along with a dvd 7" screen headunit.
will connect up once i get the the wiring loom.

Fitted most of the ice setup in today and must say the install of th wiring went well and looks very neat.
anyway took a picture this morning before leaving for work as the car looked really nice parked up with its new red grille!
