black campaign, mini restro, pics

i got this campaign last week, the last owner removed the engine so he could fit a 20v but he ran out of money :twisted: anyway, the main parts(front and rear panels, sills, arches, chasis) are SOLID, the only things that need doing are the engine needs to be re-fitted, alloys refurbed, new bumpers and new arches(current ones gone grey) a good polish, a front vw badge, gti badges allround and re-spray the red on the front grill, MOT and the car will be ready for the summer.

can some1 please post up a pic of a gti engine bay without the engine installed, i need to check roughly where the engine mount goes as mine needs to be welded back on.

Yes it is! He replaced it with a mount for 20v Turbo. Hence its about to be chopped off

Well done fella was eyeing up this one on ebay for a while, but I've got enough to deal with, with my own Campaign I got from the bay bout 4 months ago. :wink:

I'm doing the same matey, keeping it totally original!! Cant wait to see it when its done???
