black 1.8
i bought the car on saturday with no mot a high idle no clutch and very dull paintwork. its done 123.000 miles so nothing major
car unfortunatly has a glass sunroof but i will live with it for now and is completely standard in every way with original paint
the paint is in a bad way with key scratches and other scratches and a dent in the front wing that im sure will pop out
, but the rest of the car is spot on rust wise with virtually none underneath is very very good with no problems in the usual areas and it also drives real nice (once i adjusted the idle screw and clutch cable ) no over heating and no nasty noises so generally happy
spent a couple of hours with the T-Cut and polish today and has improved it 100% but its crying out for a respray which will happen very soon along with new bumpers and trim
here is a couple of pics after a wash and sort out
looking at wheels at the moment but cannot decide what to go for
any ideas ?
also it sits on brand new bilstein shocks and springs but these will be replaced with coilovers eventually, maybe springs to start with to bring it down slightly
im looking forward to see it move on and look good again after the paint
