MY Lhasa green Campaign

Right here she is, had her ten years, so man and boy lol.  :)Im the fourth owner, this is my second lhasa green MK1 completely standard, apart for the BSS Splits, still got the P-slots tho, wouldnt part with them  and a VW motorsport gearknob. She has mostly VAGSH but was serviced at GTI engineering back in the mid eighties (just thinkin i was about 7 at the time lol :D) as you can see the rear arch covers are missing as i took them off to inspect for rust and at the same time brought new VAG arch cover items at the same time!!!!

The car was manufactured on the 29th of september 1983 and was first registered on the 1st november 1983 and has an EW chassis number

These pics were taken just before xmas as im hoping to take her to a few vw show in 2008.

the BBS RS split rims i brought from graham vanstone many years ago they came off his 20v mk1 (dont know if any one can remember that car)

Here she is on the front cover of VWM many moons ago!!

To be honest i thinking of doing a few sensible upgrades to her like lower strut brace, bigger throttle body, weighted shift rod,etc you know bolt on stuff nothing crazy!!! but half of me thinks that that could be a slippery slop, and as i said shes completely standard apart from the BBS even the suspension is standard and i still have a paper filter in her, would like some people views on that

enjoy

 :D

Those alloys are abit special, amazing how a set like that can make so much impact on the whole car

are they RS's? or RM's? or neither lol

Lovely car chappie, I remember that copy of VWM, still got it!!!

I'm thinking whether the car would look better a tad lower? but strangely I like it at standard height for some reason???? :dontknow:
