not sure about the P-slots being rare mate.. there are a few types.  Your right on the gti seats… and your right that they're in good order.  There is no bolster wear on the drivers seat which is a major bonus

Nice find mate and keep us posted

Lol I see this in a service station on the m5 at bristol yesterday.

Was checking it out whilst the wife nipped off to the loo.

Love the rack  8)

If they are 15's they are pretty rare. The price you could get for them depends on the condition, and also if they have centre caps (caps with pirelli embossed on them are worth more than plain ones). Also are the tyres good i.e legal and a decent make?

I'd say ?300's reasonable, more if uncurbed and with Pirelli centre caps.

Looks like a good project, are the GTI plastic arch covers blended in to the body work? I'd consider taking them off as you'll just cause bad rot behind them. Otherwise  8)

The ones Alex's posted look like replicas of the standard GTI arch extensions that you have - I wouldn't blend yours in though, but I guess it's up to you!

To quickly see the wheel diameter check the tyre size, on the tyres sidewall it will say for example 195/50/15. The underlined number is your wheel diameter.

To open the boot with no lock you will need to wire in a solenoid. It's a common mod on Mk1's and the solenoid kits are easy to source from any VW modification shops (see ads in PVW, golf+ etc)
