yes it is larrys

well after re welding the towing eye area on the front panel back together after it got ripped apart. i then started to rub the front panel down with d/a and found that the front panel had been replaced but painted without primer and the panel must of been wet before painted. :banghead:

engine removed found lots of rounded bolts/odd sizes and scary wiring. also gear selection problem found.

all this wasn't done by larry so i wont hold him responsible

Twas that darn cowboy I bought it from, I think he had found lots of nuts, bolts and wires and seen how many he could fit under the bonnet.

Glad to see its in safe hands now though, role on those summer evenings and weekends! :)

thanks for coming down larry, going through the car with you and sorting the finer details out.
we have started on the front panel and its all been rubbed down, etch primered ready for the welds to be ground down and then a slight skim of fillar on the pitted areas of the last (ATTEMPT!!!) then primered and painted.

pics to follow

some of you i hear have seen the engine bay loom at some meets, i'll post pics up anyway for the dangerous fact of how wiring shouldnt be done.!!! no joke :banghead:

also gearbox now being replaced due to being foorbarred proper on the selector barrell.

will get pics up tomoz.

Mik,  was good to clear up most of the bits so we know where we are heading.
I couldn't ask for much more, other than to come in under budget. :y:
lol.
I will pop back in a couple of weeks or so and check progress and perhaps get some more advice from the pro's! :notworthy:
Hopefully be cruising by April!

 Cheers.
