Another mk1, now resprayed at home!

Picked up another mk1 golf today, just a little 1.1! Going to use this car as my daily and sell the mk2 GTI!





It looks a bit ruff but it has MOT till march and runs perfectly made the 100 mile trip home no problem! I plan to tide up a little bit maybe even respray it!

Think i know this car mate - did car come from Bathgate ?

I got the car from Linlithgow, the guy I got it off worked in bathgate! I think he got it from bathgate, so it probely is the one you seen before!

Aye mate - a guy called Andy Drake had it - he sold it to a guy who works for Inch engineering in Bathgate.

Andy is an old friend of mine - been into dubs since way back when.

Guaranteed to be a good car that - all the best with it

Yeah I bought it off the guy that Andy sold it to, plan to tidy it up a bit, using it as a daily drive!

Started doing some work on the car last night, cut out the rusty section from the rear panel



and welded in a new section

Got the week off work to prep and respray the 1.1. Done all the work in the shed at my house!
