Well i finally picked it up last night ( im still awaiting the pictures of this ) basically ran into a problem straight away, Cars got no rear springs so it was dragging the rear on the floor then beached itself on the truck  :evil:


so i got it home at 10ish last night and started work on it this morning , First things first lets clear all the junk out of it



Yes that is the dashboard covered in paper lol dont ask last owner decided black vinyl wasnt good enough

Basically today i fitted the 2 Bumpers , Fitted the rear lights and fitted the grille and seats lol


Soooo whats planned for it? PD130 TDI engine from a fabia VRS running at around 250bhp

Wow mate…..what can i say the cars looking a bit sorry for itself, but im sure by the time your done with it, itl look fantastic..what are your plans for the interior/exterior, colour etc??

It doesnt look much but its got no rot so its very solid

Thats the main thing isnt it no rot...one less thing to worry about, sounds nice sitting on p slots maybe? lol how about the interior? have you already purchased the engine?

Was gonna slam it down on G60'S , im in two minds one says dashboard and front seats , one says no dash haha

seriously mate, if ur using it as a road car i'd have a full interior in it, havin no dash etc will make it horrible to drive imo.
i'd only be stripping bits out of it for track days lol

its not going! havent touched it , im going to turn it into a full blown track car now i think

ive got no spares for it so what you see in the pics is what ive got

If its any help,  iv got 2 x front headlights on Ebay and iv got 2 x front clear indicator units due to go on Ebay. I might have a few more bits at some point so will let you know.  :wink:

Think it needs , Engine,Gearbox,Brakes,Suspension,Electrics,Window Seals, and a few other bits first lol

Think im gonan turn it into a fully stripped track car , No dashboard jobby kinda thing

I'll be watching this with interest, very similar project to mine. Would like to go stripped out with mine but I need to cart kids and missus around occasionally. So will have to go with race track refugee look.

Diesel power too.

Ive recently bought a 58 Seat Leon FR TDI 2.0 16V PD170 which i am now modding so all money it going on that at the moment

£900 For a De-DPF , Miltek system and Remap which will see roughly 240bhp and 360+ lb.ft  

whereabouts in burland are you? was living there a year ago and can't say I saw your project anywhere!
