And so The Long Journey Begins...

After watching my golf for 9 months and wanting to start tidying it up, i've finally started the long process (in my case anyway) of restoring/renovating it. Here is the first couple of pics, don't hold your breath waiting on the next few tho!!

Next plan is to fit a mk1 dash (currently on my living room floor - courtesy of Biskit   )
Does anyone know if a mk2 control panel (switches and clocks etc) will fit in a mk1 dash - just a temp measure until i get a mk1 panel and possibly loom?

just get hold of some mk1 clocks, not that much money, not hard to take out, and not really all that rare, think timski on this forum has some for sale, ull have to ask him
