cheers guys for the comments means alot, its taken me a year to get to the stage were its just finishing touches and then its done, well saying that i will never let it finish wont be as fun if there was nothing to do to the car…lol. got new rear tyres coming monday and tomorrow i will be fitting the gear linkage repair kit so i can hit every gear without any problems. got the exhaust to finally stop blowing today where the four branch meeets the centre pipe after work  but my boss wanted to shut up shop so couldnt really get everything i wanted done. sounded sweet when i flicked the key was like music to my ears!  just a bit of fetling with the electrics and a couple other minor bits then its going in for MOT fingers crossed i havent missed anything…?  all the welding and prep under the car has been done got rid of the letter box sized hole in the wheel well, looks like it came out of the factory now wax oiled the whole car and undersealed and stone chipped the whole underside so its going to be rust free for a few good years.  ohwell hope all you guys have a good dubbing weekend.. im off to enjoy a can of very cold cider.

hi sorry for the late reply, havent had chance to get on to the computer, been fixing up my pit bike all week.

the tyres i fitted to my are 175/50 R13 front and rear
ive dropped the car by 110mm but if i wanted to i could get it even lower but then i wouldnt be able to drive it anywhere, struggle as it is getting in and out of places over speed bumps and onto the ramps at work. if your are going to drop it as low as i have make sure you are aware of the complications of beeing so low to the ground.

also fitting streched tyres to the rear end of mine was a nightmare. there are pics on here, topic is ( get your strech out) you have to use a bead blaster.

hope this helps
