76 swallowtail 1.1L
Hi everyone I am new to this forum and a few days ago i bought my first golf mk1
Been in same family since 1976 the guy who bought it new gave it to his son and the son gave it to his son when he got the licence and now Its myne :mrgreen:
Its got a 1.1 L engine with a Morris mini SU carburettor fitted everything is quite stock and its been resprayed in MK3 Dragon green way back in 97..
Here are some pics
Started cleaning the engine bay
Got some more suitable wheels and some tlc

I have had the seats re upholstered and prepped it for mot as its been garaged by the previous owner since October. Replaced some braking components and a good carb tune up
