4 door 1.5 gx first resto

hello this is my first project and my first dub. i'd driven this for a year as my first car when i passed and fell in love with it. it's off the road now and im in mid flight of full restoration. i've upgraded the brakes, susspension and the steering so far. most of the parts have come to me through work on the cheap.
the rear brakes were from a mk2 golf gti (disc's). the fronts and the servo and the mastercylinder are off an L reg passat.
The susspension has been lowered 40mm with sports gas shocks with a full new set of ball joints and bushes etc.
The steering is off the same old passat with the full PAS system with wasn't much hard work really as the engine is out so theres plently of room to work with.
I do have the big rad with all the fans and relay unit to fit seeing as i'm upgrading the engine. thats all the mods so far which havn't really cost me much.
I'm currently working on the body work i do have some pictures but i'll dig out some more soon. tell me what you guys think so far

And the first coat is on. now its starting to look like a golf again, cant wait till its done. just bought a set of p slots and ordered my clear lights. decieded to do away with the bumpers and put LED lights where the two little holes in the front valance.

looks good. the GX is a rare beast. even rarer if everyone keeps modding them. keep up the good work mate.

Just seen this…it was put on ebay and no-one bid on it!! so i picked it up for a small fee and its now back in full swing!!
