1986 GTI CC

Totally original, less than 17K on the clock. The wheels have some dinks so they'll be off for refurbishment soon. I'm not sure whether there should be a GTI badge on the grill - any ideas? The spoiler has taken a whack so that's due for replacement.

Dubious information, as the original factory press / PR pics clearly show the Cabrio CC with a red grille trim. It was actually featured on front cover of June 1986 VW Motoring magazine, reg C245 NVV.

So i now own c245 nvv, 
I bought it with registration a8 fur

Are you going back to the spots/fogs and correct wheels?

Dont like original wheels to be honest - too small, grill not sure as this is what it came with …
Would love to get some more infomation/history of this vehicle now.  Its had alot of owners & was destined for the scrap yard when i bought it for the price of the private plate. 

That is lovely. I saw a white CC being broke for spares on ebay, is this the same car?

Ignore me, different car. The one I saw has mk2 90 spec big bumpers and arches/skirts, yuk
