Few more photo's taken in the winter sun,

i'll do a quick little back story - i've owned this gti for only 4 months, purchased from Darren in Bolsover (thanks to nastygriff on here). My '83 gti is running the early chrome bumpers, chrome trim, classic mk1 p-slots, ap coilovers as low as i dare (btw how low is a gti sump!), and a full through exhaust (not my preference but if somebody's spent a shed load on a custom exhaust who am i to complain!).

This being my first classic i decided to buy in as good as condition as i could afford (good rule of thumb), I believe Darren is known to a few of you on here for being anbsolute mk1 nut, and i can't fault any of his workmanship or help on this one, it's been fully resprayed, serviced, mot'd the day before i bought it - and any little niggles i've had and parts needed Darren has lent a helping hand.

Him and nastygriff always have a few mk1's in the pipeline so it's worth keeping and eye on the cars for sale section.

Just found this thread. Could say it's changed a bit after I've done a full nut and bolt restoration. BDBE81EE-AF14-48B0-8E87-AEE4FA3362C2.jpeg 59D79097-8897-4656-951B-340C9641943D.jpeg A230992E-62DD-4117-B478-E3ADFDBC0B63.jpeg
