1983 gx project

this my golf gx project. i brought the car for £100 and the interior is in very good condition but the bodywork has needed a lot of work. the o/s rear wheel arch needed replacing and a few repairs on the o/s of the vehicle. the n/s rear wheel arch and sill needed replacing which i have done scince the pics were taken there is also a bit of rust on the n/s front door. i will post more pics as the project progresses.  

Great stuff! GX's are well worth saving from a rusty grave. One of the more interesting colours too. Is the engine ok then? Just body repairs?

the engine was fine it was off the road for two years so i put a new battery in it and it started first time.

that looks like money well spent,
