1980 karmann cabrio restoration.

has being sat for 15 years, hence the mileage of 40000. witch aint bad for nearly 30. its looking a bit green at the moment and the roof has dropped. how many probs will i find??? lol….

its plate is kay500v  but the bumpers were missing so brought some of ebay and forgot to change the front one over  :lol: stupid me lol.
got to get a new one for front now thought my little lad tryed to fold it up :banghead:

want to restore it fully money permiting….. was very lucky with the car i think, no majour rust……. had thought it would be in very bad nick but have been extremly lucky. just had a slight problem with it being sat in the countryside a lovely little family of mice made a house in the wireing loom so being rewireing for two days. :x  wipers are refusing to work :banghead:   but could be a lot worse…

mines not been so lucky its got quite a bit of rust, but nothin my brother cant handle, i hope ha ha!!

finaly got her moted last week only failed on rear wheel bearing and back brake cylinder had seized but all done now and she has tax on her for the first time in nearly 15 years wil put another pic of her on soon

I had a 1980 cabby in black, they are very early ones. :wheelchair:
