its a mk1 convertible 1980 1.1 4speed

got some pics aint the best and it aint goh the bumpers arches on it etc

I thought the smallest engine cabby you could get was a 1.5?

Unusual for a UK cab to be 1.1.

A Lot of Italian Cabby's were 1.1 and 1.3 due to tax rules

yes i know its a defo 1.1 cabby
well i didnt know about the itialian info about the 1.1 and 1.3 engines mind

Are you sure that motor is 1,1? I think its a 1,6

Yeah the small block engine mount is still there. Maybe its had a 1.1 engine and is still registered as a 1.1? Did the seller tell you it was a 1.1?

yes he sed it was a 1.1 and is in the logbook

Look at your engine number and see what letters are on there, as that's not a 1.1 as it sits at the wrong angle.

hmm looks like you may have a decision on your hands as to whether to declare engine or not to ya insurance ……..

im pritty sure at 17 when you pass your test its gona be cheaper to insure a 1.1 rather than a 1.6 if thats what it is.

on another note, looks like a lovely little started car, wheels look clean, interior look like it would be nice with a good clean up

okno im gutted i was told when bought her that it was a 1.1
so bit annoyed really
but il prob get a 1,1 engine if comes to it

1.5 or 1.6 going by pic. water flange is between 1 &2 sparkplugs.cheers
