1 year on ????'s lighter and still cant enjoy my car Uganda

    Its been one hell of a long year. I bought my car Uganda, then I went looking for someone at last year's vw gathering at santa pod who could refurbish my mk1 convertible. Sort all the niggly things, sort that emissions problem that meant 10min driving even with the hood down gave me a stonking headache. I found someone whose I wont mention but some of you are aware of him. That was when the dramas began. I had found and bought an award winning car which needed some tlc to finish her off to a high standard. So, 6 months later, thousands of pounds lighter, I had to track my car with some help from local Bournemouth lads. Eventually found her with some help from CQ. After picking her up, 6 months later, she's sitting outside my house and still not moving. Spent another couple of grand putting right what was put wrong and I now have a refurb engine which is worse than my old engine…..??? My old engine was brill apart from the emissions.. The list of errors has been horrendous but I thought I'd upload some pics finally….I hope someone enjoys them..

haha yer have a gander at my Uganda. yer thats her nickname. i call her that for two reasons; i was born in Uganda and someone who kindly helped me track her down thought that it was a good name and i agreed. simples
