'82 GTI restoration

I've started restoring a 82' gti and come across some interesting work, thought I'd share it with you    8O

Whats the rest of the car like ?

Thats an easy repair using a donor panel [crazyquiff or scouse 'user names on here' do them] But i would look at the rest of the car first as rust in that part of the inner wing could mean hidden horrors elsewhere .

i've got a panel for that side
but im gonna need 1 for the o/s if you have 1?
the rest of the car looks like this

didnt know what wheels to go for.

the out side has been looked after better,
im gonna tackle a bit of welding at the weekend  so i'l post some pic
