BBS Wheels, what's a good asking price?

Hi,Just bought a Mk 1 Golf, it came with BBS wheels and the original wheels. I prefer the originals.So I'm looking to sell the BBS wheels but I have no idea how much they are worth. Seen some selling for £1000 plus.They are in very good condition, but not perfect. Could do with a polish. Come with centre caps.They have Rainsport Tyres on. 195*50*15 tyres. As new condition.Any ideas what they are worth, thanks!

Stick em on eBay for 1200 quid. 

Or rip the tyres off, box em up and send them to me. 

I'll give you 800 for them.

Worth more than £800 in that condition just for bbs rims.

Thanks for the replies. Wow, they really are quite sought after then. I take it they were made in limited numbers?

I've realised the tyres on the original 14's are past their best.

So going to run the BBS wheels for a while and see if I get used to them.

Any suggestions for polishing them?

Will post a pic when they are back on the car.

Not really sought after tbh, RS are more desirable in terms of split rims. 

They seem to have shot up in price recently, not sure what actual sale prices are tho.

I just sold some 16" RS for 1700 quid. 

As for running them now the weather is turning, just keep on top of cleaning them or they'll go south real quick. 

They're what I've been looking for. Most have gold or red centres that I've seen for sale. If you do decide to sell I would be interested.

In the mean time I'd be interested to hear how they are on your car, and how they look with 50 profile tyres.

Hi,

I got some new tyres for my stock wheels which I prefer, and am going to run those. So I'm going to sell the BBS wheels with the rain sports on.

My golf isn't running yet (Ignition issues) and so I've yet to drive it on either set of wheels.

They would be collection only from Yorkshire,(Leeds). So if you are intereested send me a PM. But looks like you are a far distance away.
