White cabby in Stafford

A white mk1 cab with black hood on the Newport road queuing in traffic by tesco. Ive only ever seen one other mk1 in Stafford, good to see another one

The Mrs has a red Sportline
I have a Green G60
There is another green one in our street
That white cabby belongs to a guy that works at Areva - he has had it years !!
There are 3 or 4 caddys around
There is a blue left hooker cabby around as well

I had no idea ther were that many mk1s in Stafford. The only one i have seen is the red cab. I always keep a look out mind but never seem to see any. Do you ever have any meets with the other guys from Stafford?

Haven't met up with the other guys, use to go along to the Club GTI meet near Shareshill but just don't get the time these days with work.
Keep trying to make the GammyGolfGTI meet at Walsall showcase but it always seems to be when I am away for the night.

Besides my MK1 has been with Midland VW since Sept last year for its 16V G60 conversion - I have a feeling the next two weeks will see it come home - keep your eyes peeled !!

I will definitely keep my eyes peeled for your g60, the pics of it look awesome. I live in Western Downs and was just on my way home and i think i passed you and your mrs in her red cab. I was coming over the bridge just before you get to the Rickerscote arms at about 2pm.
Im yet to go to any meets but i am going to make sure i go to some soon.
Where abouts in Stafford are you from?
