hmmm i was around der driving home from dover but my number plate is ELR 799y was on dutch plates to then my brakes failed as one of the steel pipes broke 8O

def not you then, pity i missed ye tho i don't spot many around despite there being heaps of owners in bicester alone!

yeah i didnt see one on the motorway and i was driving for 6 hours der den back to wales fixed the brakes now though absolutly craped my pants wen i tried the brakes

not good! all fixed now i hope?

bit of a bugger of a long drive that, hate to think what your fuel bill was!

lol all fixed now better then ever  fuel bill was about 50 top there

glad your brakes are fixed, they're slow reacting enough without other problems lol.

lol the price of fuel dont matter anyways when u have a mk1 golf its just fun fun fun till the brakes go of course :wink:

lol i can't afford the 50 mile a day petrol fees in a 10y/o car let alone in gruber!  

i now have a diesel VRS to take the daily drive strain, grubs is going to be my weekend car when i finally get her working again.   This spring if the weathers good. *fingerscrossed* i was going to do some work on her on sunday, but my fingers were so cold from trying to change sparkplugs on my lupo that i gave up, i wouldn't have had enough dexterity to unclip the grill on grubs.
