good!!!!!

You forgot too add:

Cluttering up the beaches/lineout
Wearing leashes on your wrists and putting wetsuits on back to front, (we do find that funny mind).
Suddenly stopping in the middle of the road to consult a map.
Never indicating.
Taking forever to place food orders at the bar of my local when all I want is a pint.
Buying everything up at the local Tescos so it looks like a plague of locusts have descended.
Making my home town an exceedingly unpleasant place to be.
Deciding that whilst on holiday in the 'fatherland', to forget how to drive.
Clogging the roads up with caravans and winnebagoes

I could go on but i'm depressing myself….roll on september..

You forgot to mention dumping millions of Pounds of hard earned cash into the Cornish economy, reducing the Carbon Footprint by holidaying in the UK and being mugged by tat awful model village place with the worst buildings I've ever seen.

We're going to Spain this year,I'd rather go to beautiful Cornwall again.

That was me! all of it! And I'd do it all again! Mwuhahahaha

But seriously, I don't have a sprog (chavvy or otherwise) and the only supermarket I ventured in to was Truro Sainsbury's for beer, I'm familiar with the do's and don'ts of wetsuit wearing and I've never been to the World in Miniature - oh and I can drive!

I do believe I saw you, Cabriaulait, on the A30 on Friday morning. I was going t'other way, towards St Ives.

Shame I'll probably have to wait another year to swell the local populace :banghead:  :banghead:

my ex mother in law has 3 holiday cottages, and the amount of people who come down with literally a weeks worth of food and drink packed in the boot is scary!

and the ones that do buy food etc down here go to tesco…

theres no denying that tourist cash helps cornwall out, but not to the extent you would think,

the other downside, is the ones who visit a few times, then buy a 2nd home down here, the cheapest 1 bedroom cottage in my village is over 250000, rent for a 1 bed flat is around 700/month,
average wage in cornwall  around 16k!
you do the math,,i dont know anyone who can afford to buy!!! including me!

We do our shopping on-line all the time, we even did it on-line last year and had it delivered to the holiday cottage so it was there when we arrived.

Lazy sods eh!
