Hi Bud,

 It was me…. Sorry for late reply. That damn tractor was a pain, was a bit timid over taking it. We'd just left Bakewell after visiting the classic bike museum which is unfortunately closing down- Think it's open in August, some interesting stuff in there.

well im saving for my holiday spends atm so ive not done anything so ill be saving up for a respray when i come back when it goes in strip engine down and rebuild it back up new seals etc
its a GX basically same as yours but gti interior
have u done anything to yours?

Hi

I like the four doors; I know a lot of people are into the sporty look but to my mind the GX and GL are cool; refreshing to hear that someone is actually looking after something other than a GTI.

 My main battle was with the Carb and I eventually switched to a Weber which I did begrudgingly- I have tried to keep everything standard and at home I still have the original steels with the original tyres on; hence the alloys. My main concern now is bodywork, believe it or not there are quite a few blemishes. I wish I could afford a respray, they are expensive but if you are commited to the cause it is much less hassle than replacing body parts.
