ive been crap!

hi everyone
not been here for ages as moved house and tinternet address and checking back in all that.
wanted to update … love my golf it is mint driving and after a monster day at work drove back with the company of a mint red gti mk1 on the leeds ringroad , had a wave and the usual flashing!.
am about to buy another vw but is air cooled and a fifty six beetle oval but the golf is the main car over past year has been my only runner..i love it
anyway just checking back in .
will be around more …work permitting i guess

Shame I never see ya when I pop over to Leeds! I agree, there's nowt like a drive home in the old Golf to cheer you up after work! I think I'll get a tax exempt beetle soon aswell…avoid this major road tax that's gonna kick in! :wink:

seen a few mk ones recently in leeds . especially around headingley area for some reason.
i expect alot of you guys going to harewood on the 20th . hope i get the day of work

Yeah, I'm tootling down to Harewood house in my mk1. Was gonna get a free stall space to get rid of a few bits (wheels etc), but you need public liability insurance just to sell a few 2nd hand parts! It's a crime having to work Sundays, surely you've got the day off!  :evil:

well i love my sundays off but due to be working that one.. but hopefull i can not be there.
so wot is that picture all about diesel . cant work it out
wots public liability about selling a few bits!

Must be in case someone trips over my alloy wheels or scratches their hand rooting through a box or summat! Surely it's no different to having a car boot sale, and last time I checked you don't need public liability insurance to do that! Never mind ey.  :roll:
The pic was to celebrate the 2,555,555th Mk1 Golf made…I think.
