Hello! That was me in Goly! I'm a bit confused by the checkered roof though :-) I have a roof rack a rusty wing and some hazard tape on the wing. No checks though! Your car was looking good too, I've seen pics before on the post about the uttox meet a few weeks back. I'm from Derby so not too far away. I'm going to try and get to the AGM on the sat for the drive out, should be good!

Hey, The chequers must have been the shadow off your roofrack! :D
It's only by chance I came that way, was avoiding the new tar on the A516
Would be good to see you at the AGM. Annax

Thanks. Mine is Lhasa Green, I think you might be right, it does look like yours. Do you have any plans for modification or are you leaving it as it is in the pic? The bodywork looks better than mine too, my front and rear arches are rusting but I plan on getting this sorted out in the near future. im loving your AA badge. I need one! :-)

Some future plans are lowering and spraying the wheels puting the roof rack on.  its a golf mk3 colour dragon green its been sprayed since 1997. Your golf was quite an inspiration.. saw it some time ago on an ultra vw magazine if i am right you were heading to bug jam :)

Hay Camper, your right it was in Ultra VW magazine, if I remember right it said '5 doors, a roofrack and a rusty wing, on paper its a no no! at Santa Pod its lets go!!' :-) Keep up the good work mate and feel free to put some pics on here if you manage to get a rack or lowered, I would like to see it.
