De Bumpered Blue mk1 in Exeter?

Hey, just a random shout.

My girlfriend awears she saw a dark blue, slammed, bumperless mk1 in Exeter. Shes not the most clued up when it comes to cars but shes adamant lol.

Oh yeah and i saw a mars red mk1 from a distance in newton-abbot. That anyone here?

Just wondered if there were any MK1 enthusiasts in the area to chat to, share tips and ideas etc.

cool! Erm, i drive a Pargas Blue Golf. De bumpered and stripped out. I wanted to go to the meet at exeter services, but i was working, was it any good?

the exeter meet thingy was just a base to go off to the taunton meet.
 you should come along to the next one on the 18th of dec. we will meet at exeter services b4 hand again if you want to pop along.

not really a cruise as such, just a chance to meet up and see what everyone else is doing and has done to their beasts! plus a chance to have a drink and bite to eat, tis a good larf really.
 have a look on the thread on regional meets and shows. its under SWM6 i think.
 its at midday.
 but we will meet up in exeter at 11.15 and then convoy down there.

Sounds like lots of fun. probably a good chance to find sum1 with a cheap gti engine for sale too.

There's a few Mars red GTIs in that area, also a black Campaign on the road between Newton Abbot and Totnes (which I want!)
