Saw you when I was going into the train station. Like the car. It looks well good without the front bumper. It also look like you had a massive backwindow or something?? Maybe I was seeing things.

Was it 'Y' reg and spangling shiny? as one passed me on the M54 coming back from Gti Spring Festival, I came off at junc.6 but he carried on towards Shrewsbury though the one I saw was totally original and had front bumper.

That would be me ,  but close up it has got blemishes :mrgreen: .  What does your restore look like? model/colour? and stuff the bathroom, get the mk1 running, the wedding can wait too .

yea would be nice weddings not far off now   its a 1.8 gti with an tsr pack c engine conversion going to keep it as standard looking as posiable but with a few nice mods  ive not long sold my 16v mk1 witch had taken 2 years to do so the brakes a bit welcome  

not to sure on colour either alpine white (oe colour) or white gold of whitch i have a 3ltr tin waiting to use before the new paint regs come in force :wink:
