Black GTI in Colchester

Saw a lovely Black GTI today parked on the roadside in Parson's Heath, Colchester. Looked very good condition and was wearing ATS cups

That sounds like it's probably Lakesk8s car.

Not sure - have bumped into him before and think his is running on nine spokes. Seem to remember the one on ATS wheels had side stickers removed?

Not sure why I am answering this rather than him! He has 9 spokes as winter wheels.

He definitely has stripes though.

Yeah i live near Halstead but regularly travel through colchester, I have a good friend on mersea road, and on to mersea island for landrover spares

As for my "steed" it is a diamond silver campaign but alas it is only taxed april to september and only comes out in good weather (not often enough). It hasn't got wet since it's resto in 1995 so i dont intend for it to start now as it is completely rust & rot free.

I will post some pics as soon as I go broadband.

I do remember a campaign passing me on the road in question a few years back. I would hazard a guess and say that is you.
If you want a club sticker give me a shout cause I got loads of them.

No she's got a ford 8O  used to have a blue scirocco that was neglected at the side of the road but it's MINE now (under resto)

I'll be away most of this week but I'll look you up for that sticker when I get back

quite a few of us meet up at the tolgate shopping thingy car park (near iceland) on the first sunday of each month usually early evening
its a mixture of air and watercooled so anything wearing a vw badge is welcome!
