afew mk1s and a cabby near preston!!!

using my black 1.6 GTi mk1 to go to work and back overe the last week and ive seen a few mk1's around preston, seen one good looking Y plate cab in a light metalicy green with a baige roof, with a bird diving it, seen her going though bamber bridge the other day too, think it was monday, as i was getting TAX!!!

and the caddy i saw was a smart oragne one with all the chrome trim, lowerd BBS's looking smart alothough it was pulling out so i coulndt see it up close, as i shot of from a roundabout  when he was coming from behind didnt even come close, proberly just didnt care to catch me up, but more lightly a diesel!!! oh well!

havnt seen them but spotted a minter in fulwood, pea green, chrome bumpers all the chrome trim…all the right stuff :wink:

oh and theres a lowerd blue caddy with mk2 steelies and rainbow seats that parks at the back of my work sometimes…

theres a mint green 5dr mk one which parks up at a pub right in the centre of preston at the back of the police station, its absoloutly mint, compleatly stanadrd,
looks mint, (pitty its a 5dr!)

theres also a 4 door mk1 just round the corner from me in gold, 43,000 miles and a blonde bird drives it, also i've seen a dark blue cabby driving about with a private plate, JAY something….

where abouts in preston you from anyway?

where abouts in preton are you from lowmk1?saw a mars red gti in bamber bridge a couple of weeks ago,i have a blue mk1 5 door and work in preston so keep an eye out!

I also work in preston town center but get a decent parking space round the back so i dont have to leave it in the multstory

I live in lower penwortham leyland road, dont think it was me…i would of flashed! erm lights…. 8O  

Alex, where do you travel from to go to work in Preston? Its not Blackburn is it, driving a black Y redg?

ed, if you're in Bamber Bridge…keep a look out for a red cabby with a cream roof, used in all weathers.

yeah its a Y reg, i havernt seen a single tin top bar the 5dr metioned above in the preston area since i got mine, seen a smart looking blue 3dr coming towards me near st helens about 2weeks ago tho, dunno what model, we falshed each other tho, anyone on here?

i live in longridge mate, i work in farington, north layland, but come right past bamber bridge when i come off at junction 29 on the M6, hardly ever go thu bamber bridge, i was driving thu to get me TAX as i know where the post office is there, but if i see you ill give you a wave!

i have been the blackburn afew times in the last couple of weeks tho, i come from ribchester, off the A59 crossroads,

i only wave a real Mk1s (ie early cabs only!!!! oooooowwwww get me!!!)

yeah mate that was me, at about 5.50-ish, what were you in??
 as ive seen some more mk1's in the area over the last few days….
a faded mars red mk1 in preston last moday near blockbuster car park also (possibly the same car) defiantly a mars red one, but going southbound around the tickled trout round-a-bout (Jnc31) a few days earlier…..

i was just in me work van , a salford van hire 7.5 tonne. couldnt quite keep up with you!

you wernt comin on to the m6 using 31a southboud were you? as i was behind a orange hire van, dunno why i rememberd this!!! yeah cos its so early me avarge speed is quite high on the way into work!!!
