clipper lowering... KW Variant 1 any good

morning all, i'm looking to lose some height on the new clipper i've bought - she's currently stock height.

I've seen the KW Variant 1 that say they will drop it up to 75mm but are they worth the outlay or is there a better or cheaper option available?
I'm not into speed just want it to look and ride nicer. i'll be hitting a lower strut brace at the same time which i've heard will help stiffen the front end up.

also is it a diy job? i'm not too bad with a spanner - anyone fancy helping!!! thanks,
