Trouble finding 175/75/13s

Post

Hi all,

I seem to be struggling to find this size tyre for my golf? One chap told me that 75 is now 80 and I would need to fit 175/80/13s but they are also a mare to find?

Anyone on here able to help?

I am running standard steel wheels on my clipper cabby and do not really want to change the wheel, as I am keeping her standard (as possible).

Cheers

Andy

My standard alloy wheel tyres are 175 70 13R.

Are you sure that you need 75 or 80???

Hi Dano,

I am just going off the existing tyres that are fitted to the car. Maybe 70/13s will be ok?

They are steel wheels with the exterior plastic trim which fits in as a ring around the most outer of the wheel itself.

I may have found some part worns local, so hopefully this'll sort them! 5mm tread, £60 for all 4 fitted.

I am going to refurb them as they're a bit tired looking.
