Suspension sitting low

Hello all, been a while for me but finally got round to sorting some bits out and one of them is to sort the ride height as it is a bit low for me. It had a set of adjustable spring suspension but not height so I have replaced the rear with the original struts / springs that came with it when I brought it. Trouble is it's still sitting exactly the same height (290mm from centre of wheel to bottom of body kit) I can only imagine now that the standard springs are not actually standard , could anyone give me the length of an un compressed spring please ?

My standard '87 sits about 320mm from wheel centre to wheel arch trim (wheels have trims and wedged in garage so difficult to be exact)

Yours will have "Clipper" kit so that may cause a difference?

Also when you reinstated the original struts did you use the correct Cabrio upper spring mount/cup? They are different from the tintop and much deeper to increase the ride height to compensate for the heavier rear of the Cabrio.

The trouble with doing nothing is that you never know when you are finished.
